Pastoring a church has been a calling that I have enjoyed for over 30 years. I am blessed and honored to serve the wonderful people of Risen Community. I have a bachelor’s degree from Olivet Nazarene University and a master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Offering pastoral care and spiritual direction through personal conversations, teaching moments and sermons shared in the worship service hopefully engage our people to deeper relevant relationships with God and others.
My wife, Hope, has been an incredible teammate with her enthusiasm and creativity for ministry to our infants and toddlers. We have been married 39 years and have three grown children and two grandkids. I have plenty of pictures to share about our grandkids with anyone who wants to hear me ramble on how great our grandkids are. Did I mention that we have wonderful grandkids? Our hope and prayer for everyone that attends Risen Community is that they are loved and accepted, encouraged to know Jesus, and empowered to share Jesus with those they love.
