I began attending Risen Community Church in 1980, when my son was almost a year old and my daughter was eight. It was here, through the love and grace shown by caring people living out God’s truth, that I found my way to Christ.
Over the years, I’ve had the joy of serving in many ways—from teaching classes to serving as the church board secretary. The people have ministered to me through some of life’s most difficult moments, including the loss of my husband and a cancer diagnosis. The support and love I’ve received here have been a true lifeline.
This church is more than a place I attend—it’s my home.
